Puget Sound ESD is ready to support you throughout the year with our cost-saving programs and services. We offer many services that will help your school year be a success. Many are available to school buildings and districts by the hour, by the service, or on a contractual basis. Whether delivered at our site or yours, our services offer you innovative solutions at significant savings (many are available at no cost!). Our services are customizable and continually evolve to meet the changing needs of your distrcit and your classroom.

June 30th Expiration Date & Contact Information
It is already that time to start thinking about maintaining the validity of your certificate!
If you are completing coursework for your certificate and transcripts will not be available to you until after June 30, 2008, please note: Ask the college/university to prepare a letter of verification for any course that will not be shown on your transcript by June 30, 2008. The letter must:
- Be on University/College letterhead
- Be signed by the Registrar/official at the college
- Reflect course number, course title, grade and number of credits earned

Math Professional Development Opportunities
There are several opportunities for mathematics professional development at PSESD over the next several months. The PSESD Math and Science Regional Support Center, in partnership with several organizations, is offering a Math Endorsement Academy, math leadership training and support opportunities, as well as Washington revised math standards training.

Arts Impact Workshops
This fall, PSESD will offer three workshop series’ that provide K-6 teachers with strategies to infuse the arts into math and writing. In arts-infusing learning, concepts in math and literacy are reinforced through acting, dancing, painting and drawing. Arts-infusion provides students who struggle to learn in traditional ways an opportunity to learn those same concepts from an artistic point of view.

Attention Teachers! Have You Signed Up for Ready, Set, Goals 1-4?
July 29-31, 2008
Learn from local and nationally recognized leaders who are implementing strategies matched to the Washington State Learning Goals. The conference is appropriate for anyone involved with the education of students (paraeducators, ESL tutors, special education, staff and parents). This conference fills quickly, so register early! (Register before June 9 and save $50.)

What's New on Washington Learning Source?
The Washington Learning Source (WLS) is a statewide program developed by Washington's nine regional Educational Service Districts.
The WLS mission is to provide a place for districts to choose quality products and services that meet their needs and create economic efficiencies through ESD collaboration and a regionally supported delivery model. This website has been created to meet those needs. Products and services are continually being added!
