Puget Sound ESD is ready to support you throughout the year with our cost-saving programs and services. We offer many services that will help your school year be a success. Many are available to school buildings and districts by the hour, by the service, or on a contractual basis. Whether delivered at our site or yours, our services offer you innovative solutions at significant savings (many are available at no cost!). Our services are customizable and continually evolve to meet the changing needs of your district and your classroom.

Customized Professional Development Services
Are all of your stakeholders involved in implementing and sustaining School Improvement efforts? We offer training and support in developing professional learning communities and collaborative analysis of student work. All sessions are based on proven methods for increasing student learning. A range of service models are available. Topic areas include differentiating instruction, curriculum alignment and mapping, accreditation process, reading strategies and more. Educational Technology Training
Training is the key to unlocking the potential of educational technology. Our programs cover a range of topics from curricular integration to emerging technologies. Available in models ranging from half-day workshops to year-long partnerships, our professional development opportunities are customized to meet your needs. Equity in Education Services
Equity in Education Services provides schools and districts with best practice strategies in student engagement, school-wide systems analysis, culturally competent professional development and classroom-based interventions that will ultimately result in positive outcomes for our diverse student populations. Services are offered in a tiered approach to give you an increasingly comprehensive level of assistance in creating and maintaining an equitable and supportive learning environment. Mathematics and Science Specialists
Current and upcoming changes in state math and science standards, WASL assessments, and adoptions based on state curriculum recommendations will increase the amount and the focus of work that districts will be engaged in over the next several years. Math and/or science specialists can work one or more days in your district to coordinate your math or science curriculum and instruction efforts. Our cost-effective solutions offer the customized development and management of systemic interventions, including professional coaching, curriculum and assessment coordination and more. Paraeducator.com
Paraeducator.com is a portal that provides high quality training and regularly updated information and services for paraeducators and the teachers with whom they work. The site provides tools and information needed to help districts meet state and federal mandates, training, mentoring, specific strategies for success, news and discussion boards. Prevention Services
Prevention works! Research supports a strong link between academic performance and supportive learning environments. We provide resources designed to address the emotional, social, behavioral, and health needs of students, remove barriers to learning and improve the school community learning environment. Our services include regional and onsite training and technical assistance for substance abuse prevention, school safety and crisis response, parent engagement, tobacco prevention and more. Special Services
We provide a broad range of customized educational services designed to assist students with special needs. We offer staff development and training, program reviews, Safety Net assistance, school improvement services, technical assistance and more. Student Assistance Program
Student assistance professionals implement comprehensive programs that address problems associated with substance use. They provide direct services to students in grades 6–12 who are at risk and/or harmfully involved with alcohol, tobacco, and/or other drugs, including counseling, individual and family interventions, referrals, prevention activities and outreach. SWIFT: The Simplified Web Interface for Teachers
